Brief Summary in Scientific Language

Malignancies of oral cavity, throat, larynx, salivary glands, nose and paranasal sinuses are summarized under head and neck cancer (HNC). In addition to the frequent squamous cell carcinoma, numerous other entities with different histopathological and clinical characteristics occur in HNC.
The aim of this study is a more detailed histopathological examination of HNC and correlation with patient and tumor characteristics.
