Brief Summary in Lay Language

Primary care medicine is complex because patients often have more than one disease, one medication, and one physician. Thus, it is a challenge for primary care physicians to maintain the long-term overview and to structure the various aspects of each patient’s care. This feasibility study evaluates the usability of our newly designed health care management software eCare*Seniors© in primary care practices. The software highlights relevant aspects of care within patients’ electronic records using symbols.
