Brief Summary in Lay Language

Cancer related fatigue (CRF) ist a common problem for cancer patients. Nevertheless, CRF is rarely addressed during the consultation with the doctor, maybe because it is considered as "unavoidable". In a study from UK, 58% of over 700 outpatients recieving chemotherapy reported moderate to severe fatigue, and 52% of those patients felt that fatigue is their main cancer related symptom. Up to now, little is known about the treatment approaches for CRF. There are some data that suggest exercise (e.g. ergometer training) might improve fatigue in cancer patients. Aim of the study is to investigate the potential of modern dance on cancer related fatigue.
