The current issue of the "British Medical Journal" addresses the problem of missing trial data

In BMJ's current issue (7th of January 2012 (Vol 344, Issue 7838)) the subject "Missing Trial Data - why we need the full picture" is discussed. Numerous articles deal with the subjects publication bias, registering clinical trials and evidence based medicine. Some of the most relevant articles in this context are summarized in an Editorial by Richard Lehmann and Elizabeth Loder, which is worth reading. The authors call for a disclosure of complete information on each trial including full protocols, final study reports and raw data.
